If you wish to continue taking the pills that you were taking outside of Japan, we can prescribe a similar medication.
If you want pills for contraception or menstrual cycle regulation, we will recommend suitable options, while considering the risks of side effects.
How to take the pills
If you are already taking pills, you will continue with our pills after finishing your previous pack.
If you are taking them for the first time, you will start on the first day of your period. You just have to take one pill at around the same time every day. The contraceptive effects are maintained as long as you are taking the pills. The last few days on the medication pack are when your period will occur.
In rare cases, nausea and blood clots may occur as side effects.

Gynecological Care Utilizing Online Consultation
At our clinic, we actively recommend online consultations for menopausal symptom consultation and treatment, as well as for prescribing birth control pills for contraception or menstrual pain relief, for the following reasons.
- Maintaining continuous medication use helps sustain the effectiveness of the treatment.
- Avoiding minor side effects that may occur when treatment is repeatedly stopped and restarted.
- Receiving care in a relaxed environment allows for better communication about your symptoms.
